Wire Electrical Discharge Machining is another subtractive process commonly used by Micronorma.
This process cuts material using a thin single-strand metal wire, usually brass, which is fed through the workpiece, submerged in a tank of dielectric fluid. This process allows cutting very intricate and complex shapes, resulting in polished smooth surfaces and sharp edges that would be difficult to obtain by other processes.
In addition to our machining equipment capabilities (milling, drilling, boring, polishing, turning and threading), we offer CAD design services, CAM programming services, assure high standard quality and all subsequent processes:
· Heat treatment
· Surface finishing
· Laser labelling
Micronorma provide CNC WEDM parts worldwide for:
· Automotive sector;
· Aeronautic sector;
· Manufacturing industries;
· Other machine builders.
